We have seen Wall shelves are making their space in living room decoration and people have gradually shifted from those big looking wooden showcases there are multiple reasons for that one is the LCD/LED TV which can easily be mounted on the wall so there is no use of that extra showcase or TV cabinet earlier there used to be big size cathode-ray box tv that use to require a cabinet on the floor to keep it and people also use it as the showcase. People still use the cabinet for their TV but the no. is very low and most of the cabinet can are also wall mounted. On the cabinet, there is very less space for decorating items.

Here are the steps and items for making the wall shelves
Items required :
- Wooden Board or Wooden Plank
- Wall Brackets
- Nails and screw
Steps for making it
1. Cut the board: Take the wooden board and cut it into planks of wood measuring around 130 cm in length and 30 cm in width. You can also use your old furniture wood for this. And the measurements I have provided is the most preferred one you can take your own also as per your need.
2. Drill the holes: In this step drill holes on the wall, where you want to install the shelves. for this take the approximate distance between two wall holes and use leveller. So that the shelve looks perfectly horizontal.
3. Install Brackets: Now install the wall brackets using the screw or nail on the space where you have made the holes. Make sure nail or screw are tightly screwed and brackets are not shaking.
4. Keep the plank: Keep the plank which you have cut in the first step on the wall brackets and tight it to the brackets using nut and bolt. Check Plank is resting horizontally straight.
Your wall shelf is ready to use.
