 As the winters are passing the summer heat is coming with each passing day mercury is rising up so as our worries about how to battle it to without sitting on Air Conditioned room all around the day. As we all know sitting on the AC room all over the day can be harmful to our body. So what comes in your mind to make your house summer ready? 


 Here are 5 tips that will surely help you in lowering your house temperature this summer.


Choose Light colours

Light colours help in making the space cool as it reflects the heat and light and makes the atmosphere cool. Light colours also make the vibe of space peaceful and chilling. So choose a light colour like white, ivory or any light shade of any colour but mostly white or cream colour is preferred.  On your accent wall, you can choose a dark shade or a floral print. As florals somehow reflect the vibe of summers.



Summer Coat on Roaf

This is done in many parts of north India where a special white colour coat is applied on the road floor which helps in reflecting the heat from the surface and helps in reducing the temperature of the room just below it. The paint used for coating the road is easily available on hardware or paint store near your house.



Use cotton

Time to change all the fabrics including your curtains and the upholstery of your sofa sets with the cotton fabric. As cotton is a breathable fabric which allows better airflow if you compare it with other fabrics. If you have leather or rexine sofa sets than this is a must for you. Apart from cotton, you can also use other natural fabrics.

Planting treen on your balcony and terrace is always a good idea and apart from it, you should plant a tree inside the house as well. For this, you have so many options like hanging them using a basket to the ceiling or plant it in a designer ceramic planter. Plants help in better airflow in your rooms and also helps in purifying the air of your room naturally.
