But sometimes in hurry, we buy the wrong product which doesn't fit our requirement and regret purchasing it. Split AC / Window AC

This is the most confusing question we always have on our head before buying an air conditioner. So both of them do their basic job of cooling the space perfectly but both look and work a bit differently. Even the price is different. Split AC costs more compared to window AC as it has one outdoor unit and another indoor unit and in the case of window AC there is only one unit. Even window AC also Consumes less power compared to Split AC. But you require a particular size window for installing it but in the case of split AC, it can be installed on any type of room even if your room doesn't have a window in it. Split AC also is silent compared to window AC. So choose the best air conditioner wisely.

Power Consumption / Ton

The power consumption of the AC depends on the tonnage. Higher the Tonnage of AC higher the power it will consume. But you have to buy the AC as per the size of the room you cant buy a 1 ton AC for the big size hall as it won't work the right way. 

For better power-saving buy AC with a higher bEE rating.

Inverter AC or without inverter

Inverter here doesn't mean that your AC will work even when there is no power. The Inverter helps the compressor by not getting it turned off when it reaches the desired temperature as every time the compressor turns on it sucks a very large amount of electricity which results in higher power consumption. So the question is whether you should buy an inverter AC or the normal one so the answer is if your AC will work all over the day then you should consider buying the inverter one and if it will work for few hours then you should be buying a normal one as there won't by any difference in the total amount of the bill.

Brand

Choose the right brand of AC for your home is necessary don't buy an AC of a cheap brand. We people get trapped in false marketing of companies and end up buying their products. The cheapest brand sells AC' with an aluminium compressor with a copper coating over it. Don't get trapped in such marketing traps better buy a good company Air conditioner.
